María Buelvas is a Colombian social anthropologist who works at the intersection of anthropology, poetry and visual art. She was a researcher for the project “Space, Agency, and Climate Change in a Contested Urban Landscape: Exploring Environmental Futures in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia,” funded by the Leading House for the Latin American Region St. Gallen. She is also founder of dos.artepublico – a platform that brings together social and artistic research in public space in Cartagena, Colombia.
